Reader Review: What a fun, delightful mystery! This book was a great giggle to me because it was as if Gail Hulnick had entered the minds and had observed the behaviors of every Car Guy and Car Gal that I know! The extreme devotion to the Sacred Holy Grail...your 1979 muscle car. OR the Cobra, the Shelby, the Jag,
the Porsche-- PLEASE pronounce that Por Sha---etc. I laughed when I heard their thoughts , including those of the wives (and moms) because they were so vividly real, so like what goes on in the car collector/racing world.
I said WOW when I read the descriptions of the characters, not just people with big bucks but all devoted to the love of the automobile. JD and Deb love their 70 Cuda and are part of the instigators for a rally along the East Coast. But things keep getting stolen- diamond necklace, available Mercedes hood ornament.... and the worst sacrilege.... the Barracuda!!!
